The Nain carpet is a distinguished type of Iranian carpet and one of the traditional handicrafts of the Nain region, produced both historically and in contemporary times. It is renowned for its exceptional and refined color palette. The primary design elements of Nain carpets are highly delicate and elegant floral arabesque (Eslimi) motifs, which give these rugs their signature sophistication and grace.
The main weaving center of this type of carpet is Nain, located approximately 100 kilometers east of Isfahan. In addition, large-format Nain-style carpets are also produced in Shirvan County, North Khorasan Province.
Nain carpets are considered among the finest Iranian carpets, admired for their beauty, precision, and enduring artistic value.
